VIVIAN, La. — The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office says a man is dead after being stabbed by his girlfriend.
The sheriff’s office says 30-year-old Tiffany Moore stabbed 50-year-old Shannon Schoen on Thursday. According to authorities, Moore visited the Vivian Police Department at 7:40 a.m. to report she had stabbed her boyfriend, and minutes later a neighbor called police to report the crime.
The stabbing occurred in the 200 block of East Texas Avenue in Vivian.
Upon arrival to the scene, police discovered Schoen had been stabbed once in the chest, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives arrested Moore after a thorough investigation, and she was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on a charge of second-degree murder.
The investigation is ongoing.
